SomerStreets is Coming to East Broadway!

SAVE THE DATE!

July 25, 2010 12-4pm: SomerStreets in East Somerville and Winter Hill!

Join us for the 3rd 2010 SomerStreets event presented by the City of Somerville, East Somerville Main Streets and FossFest. Broadway will be blocked off from Sullivan Square to Temple Street (Star Market) to make room for walking, cycling, skating and fun!

East Somerville Main Streets will present music by Marcus Santo and Bloco, Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band and Son del Sol, Dance and Fitness demos by Dance Havana, Dance Zone, Vegetable Circus, Bay State Fencers and Vida Real Dance Group. There will be a community drum circle and lots of activities for the kids.

SomerStreets is the City of Somerville’s new Open Streets initiative, which fosters community involvement and active living by closing a section of roadway and offering active, family-friendly programming along the route.
